File versioning when sending WAVs & getting feedback?

For a long time certain stuff when it comes to sending mixes/stems around really bums me out, wetransfer links expiring, crappy preview quality, no waveforms, Dropbox/G drive just not being something very "presentable" to send to others.

I eventually last year just built a little tool for myself that streams wav/aiff, does playlists, timestamp comments, non-expiring links etc, and I’ve been using it day-to-day now.

Main thing I’m thinking about at the moment is - I’m on Cubase and I always liked versioning there, if anyone is familiar, and I kind of want that same thing in an audio library… quick instant A/B/C while playing through versions.

Is there any Finder/explorer style app that already does versioning nicely for audio files?

Trying to figure out the cleanest way to implement this, so curious what people are using. Any suggestions would be awesome :)
