Sure can add that, should be with new patch in a few days.

a kill button would be cool imho

Can add that, I use F3 in Reaper kills the sound, will probably add it to the menu.

Not sure F3 also shuts audio buffers in REAPER, it only sends some MIDI commands for note offs and some CC reset IIRC..

True, probably making some confusion I thought I was clearing delay tails with that even though I added no code to handle it.

I haven't downloaded the plugin yet. Does it have diffusion like Deelay? I like Deelay but a Linux alternative would be great.

Post

Only thing Deelay does that this doesn't is the extra modes like Chaos, also Randomize not implemented yet and A<>B patch I think.
Has other features that Deelay doesn't though, both do diffusion, QDelay support Linux too.

sliders instead of knobs may save space?

Post

Good idea, though they would need to be quite short, about 40px max to look right. Another solution would be to increase the left section by one column, would open more space for other controls like delay time offset. Will consider.

It really is a full-featured, jam-packed delay unit, and it must be hard to fit everything in the UI. Thank you for the excellent plugin! A few of other ideas:

(1) maybe the knobs along the bottom could be reduced only 8-10% in size, allowing for longer horizontal sliders for dry and wet signal lie across the bottom underneath the knobs. Alternatively, slightly smaller knobs and removing the Duck and Pitch labels along the top of the bottom known could allow for shorter horizontal sliders stacked on top of each other between the top and bottom sections.

(2) The Pitch % label could be incorporated into the Pitch knob itself with either an outer encoder ring or a simple vertical slider next to it.

(3) A small border could wrap around each section of the bottom row of knobs, giving them some visual separation from each other. And this would allow the Duck label to be incorporated into the border as well.

I have another idea. Instead of a double dry/wet knob, toggle the mix knob between the current behaviour and a wet only knob (with dry always 100%). I can't think of a time when you actually need to lower the dry level into the delay that wouldn't be better served by a mix knob.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I'm mostly there adding Wet and Dry sliders instead of Mix knob, I personally think its useful.

As for marking each section, someone suggested this already I'll see if it can be done while still looking good.

Currently looking like this:

Does not look as tidy as having a single knob but I think its more useful this way.

Best,

Why not do wet and dry knobs aligned vertically in the space below "Normal"?

The pink sliders don't fit with the rest of the UI and look morre like level meters to me. Where "unity" would be also looks ambiguous.

And where would the Mix button be?
