I love loops and looping - what started more of a curiosity journey went into a VST Plugin Made via JUCE Framework i already really love:
Looper Fully Locally & Retrospective (cheers to Endlesss...)
Simple but powerful per Channel DSP FX
Multi-Out per Channel to DAW (atm. 8 Loop Tracks)
Classic Loop Functions Overdub, Undo/Redo last step on loop, Reverse, Clear...
Drag (processed) Loops Directly into DAW or Save as (as you like..)
Randomize each Channel Settings to discover magic
Sidechain IN so you can feed a Pulsar 23 Kick (and others maybe...![]()
Scrub or Stutter the Playhead and move it with POS Slider
Tapestop FX
Dusty and Broken Textures like TapeHiss or Rain to feed onto your Loops
Harmonize Function that translates something that works already good together in even more magical ways
Preset and State Saving (including captured loops, so you never loose anything you love).
...and maybe much more.

I'd love to beta-test this. It's right up my alley.

Hi Party-People,
thank you for posting here! Because y'all (the ones already posted in this thread) so cool, you will all receive free copies of this looper
Just reach out here via KVR (are DMs possible?). If not, maybe share Discord Name or so so i can reach out to you.
Still implementing new Ideas, it lately has gotten a basic but nice granular engine. Snapshots. Snapshot Morphing. Randomize Functions. And weird Stuff like Slicing to fixed Grid. Maybe a Transient Detection will follow. Lets see. At the moment, it covers Windows with VST3. Linux and Mac will follow hopefully, but atm i am focusing to get bugs fixed and be solid on one platform. Because i used JUCE Framework, it shouldn't be a hustle to migrate to other OS Platforms hopefully. If you have any cool ideas what you'd like to see in a looper, just share your thoughts here.

too late for the freebie but still going to say this looks amazing - very clear interface from the looks of the video. Only thing I can see that is missing for me is to not be locked to bars and beats but have arbitrary loop lengths. There is the intriguing "FREE" parameter top right which might be it.
Wild modulation demo as well. Ridiculously powerful, very well thought out and I think that might possibly even get me out of the bars and beats limit (if that is even there). Definite buy if not too expensive

I don't think we can DM you until you have a certain number of posts, though. I'm z3r0cr0ss1ng on Discord.

yeah, transient detection is what i´d wish to see (on any looper).
i´m on Mac though.
guess you need to have 5 posts or so until DMs work
What i´d also would wish for is sort of a "hidden 4-Channel recording mode", settable in a way, so that Reverb tails or delay tails etc. can continue to record past loop end / stop command. Then wrap that "tail" around to the loop. Synced.
Would require some "pre-set this" commands. Should ideally be an easy workflow on that as well.
And: welcome here Helmut

Hey, Welcome and thanks for the gift, I'm really looking forward to playing with this and seeing how it evolves. I'll have a proper play with it before I start suggesting things. Luckily I'm on Windowsherzihelmut wrote: Mon Jan 12, 2026 7:44 pm Hi Party-People,

Hi Helmut,
I would be interested in beta-testing your interesting & good looking Hzilooper. I'm on Win11, intel (R) Core(TM) i9 14900K, running Live 12 Suite. Would be great if the text on the smaller gui elements were larger or the gui was re-sizable (for us older folk with poor eyesight). Can't PM, as you don't have 5 posts yet, but will keep an eye on this thread.
... and welcome to KVR.
