Thanks for your contribution and reviving the topic! I have already worked a lot with the freepats sounds and would recommend them as first.

And I have even found a comprehenesive sample set of the TR-808 - recorded in 1994 (<< Woodstock .

Don't know if these are any good for you, but happy for you to do what whatever you want with them if so. It's kontakt instruments of two of my acoustics; the battered old encore (which I much prefer actually), and an epiphone. All the .wavs are in there.

Hi, we at Surge Synth Team are starting to build a library with CC0 samples for the coming ShortcircuitXT sampler form Surge Synth Team. It is just starting, but maybe it's now that the thing is pretty small that we need some friendly hands to push it harder, or just a CCO statement in your samples.
I'd like to make the claim extensive to everyone wishing to share their samples or patches.
Shortcircuit is still in pre-beta and it's not close to release, it's a volunteer job and we have few developers, but the thing is pretty close to work and it's massive.
