Got this synth for 149,- Euro and have purchased one or two upgrades for 39,- but seeing the current upgrade from V7 to V8 is priced 99,- makes me wonder...

yeah I'm not paying that much for an update. Been waiting for it to come down but pretty much gave up at this point.

I am still on V6 and any upgrade path was recently removed so I would have to pay full price for the upgrade. I also saw new wording that upgrade pricing would only be available if eligible. Oh well.

Yeah I'm on v7 and not going to upgrade. The Usual Suspects version is much better and free.

I have v7.9 and was told there would be a sale on the upgrade, but only saw it go up in price, and now my upgrade options have disappeared. 7.9 works great. I bought the whole bundle a number of years ago, but any path or future on that seems to have disappeared. This has been said to death, but I miss the old George and the personal attention he gave users here. I would love to support DiscoDSP again. Toss us a bone, please? (I did say "please".)

Same. I'm on 7.9, was waiting (2 years?) for the "promised" discount on the upgrades. Now there is no upgrade option in my account. I would not pay more than 20 anyway for the upgrade, since I already paid 2 times. It's just not worth it, when we have so many options these days. Bye.

Well, there was Toontrack with SD3, though they did make it pretty clear.

I'm not massively surprised DiscoDSP has done it. And done it on the QT.

If George is expecting people to beg for the chance to upgrade at whatever insane price he set, I think he's going to be disappointed.

Wow just checked my account and the upgrade is indeed gone, mad! It seems like yet again this company responds to people raising legitimate issues with childish and petty over reactions. What a strangely self sabotaging approach to business!
