Chiptune Composers - who are your favourites?

I enjoy listening to chiptunes, for nostalgia reasons as well as the fact that I like the idea of making music with such severe limitations as chip music tackles. I would classify early tracker music as chip music, personally, because of the hard limits on channels, but others might have a different opinion. My favourite platform from proper chip music is the C64 SID, but I do enjoy stuff on YM chips. I'm not a great fan of the fake 8-Bit stuff done on modern DAWs, mainly because that feels like an arbitrary self-imposed style choice rather than a hard limit on a hardware platform. Is anyone else here into chip music and early tracker stuff? If so, who are your favourite chip tune makers, and tracker composers?
