I've seen the Minichord for sale online as a budget version of an Omnichord. Has anyone bought one? If so, is it any good? I'm unsure about shelling out for something that may just be a toy to collect dust on a shelf, or break in 10 minutes.

I assume there are plugins that would do a similar thing with appropriate controllers.
