Voted. Some really nice tracks considering the synth limitations.

Post

Voted. It wasn't easy for everyone with this VSTi. But that's what makes the challenge so appealing.

Voted! Nice video davi-dj! Well, it´s not surprise anymore that no matter what synth we have here you all still manage to get amazing sounds out of it. Well done!

Post

Voted. I think it's fair to say this talented group has squeezed every last drop of capability out of this little synth!

Post

Voted! It was so hard trying to be consistent...

davi-dj awesome video! Even tho my Spanish isn't great, it's a treat to see your process and some of your techniques for getting those incredible sounds 🙏🏾

Is that Bitwig you're using? I'm a Reaper guy, but considering trying out some others. Looks like a cool workflow in your video

F* challenging synth in terms of making sounds the synth is originally not designed for. Regardless of that, there are pieces that deserve THE respect (their authors, rather). There are songs that not only don't sound like Oxid, but sound pro or commercial. Really amazing work. I'm so many steps behind them.... :(

I wish good luck to all of you. All productions deserve respect for the energy you put into sound design and composition.

PS
This limited synth, along with the extraordinary sonic results we can hear over here, makes me think of one of the OSC rules, which states that sounds should not deviate too far from the original synth tones. I believe we can agree that this iteration of OSC demonstrates the opposite. This raises the question: why are some plugins not allowed while others are, even though all of them can completely transform the sound? In some cases, the allowed plugins change the sound even more.

It is not my intention to downvote any tracks or interfere with this edition of OSC. I truly appreciate the creative freedom we have. I will bring this topic to the dedicated OSC thread after voting is over.
