POLL: Will you stop making music if AI reaches top quality production?
including specific genres
What if it happens (for example in 3-6 years) that AI can produce songs of such quality that the listener cannot recognize them. (including specific genres like psytrance, techno, experimental, ambient, film music). What will you do and what are your plans:
A.) I will stop making music altogether - it will not matter when AI can do it in a few seconds and the market will be saturated.
B.) I will never stop making music - And I will do it with the standard approach as before (software synthesizers, samples, classic composing of melody and structure)
C.) I will combine AI and human approach (AI for generating sounds, AI for generating presets, AI for generating melodies, AI for mixing and mastering) and just store it in DAW
D.) I will start making Electro Acoustic music - with Kontakt instruments/Romplers - exclusively from acoustic sources - recorded real instruments) hoping that AI will never be so good that it would replace live sampled realistic instruments.
Thanks for your votes

It's a hobby, escapism, creative outlet... If I were in it for money it be a miracle if even afford a coffee
it's an art form I guess and as such I see AI as more of a. Commercial threat
but I do my bit regardless oe buy all my software including gsonique
However, AI is still a useful to for a creative and resource tool, no different than a virtual musician to confer with in essence from my perspective.

I enjoy the creative process - the inherent challenges and the problem-solving. A.I. takes that away from me and thus my internal motivation to create and therefore my enjoyment. This is where I am at with A.I in. Music for the moment.

B.
I don't really care what AI does/can do/might do - it has nothing to do with the way I make and enjoy music. AI can make better music than me and it won't affect me in the slightest. It's entirely possible AI can already make better music than me, I suspect 3 year-olds can already make better music than me but it never stopped me.

AI music tools are really for people who are not musicians so it's fine for me.

Would you stop making music if music by other humans 'reaches top quality production?'
If yes, then byebye, there's clearly no point in you being on a music forum. If not, then why would a different source of said music matter even slightly? I mean, WTF are you trying to make music for?

market? oh dear. if your mindset is that its all about 'market', go stack shelves.and the market will be saturated.
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

Why would you stop making music if it gives you enjoyment?
Dis you stop because Brittany Spears is better than you?

I do it because I love doing it. I don't care what anyone or anything else can or cannot do.
