Last gasp for Presonus Studio One with Fender re-brand?

I will say though, it's hardly a "last gasp" for Studio One. Studio One has been one of the fastest growing DAWs on the market, reaching 3rd most popular DAW (behind Fruity Loops and Ableton), and PreSonus's annual revenues have been in excess of $100 million in recent years.
Fender acquired PreSonus on the strength of their market position, not because they were in any trouble.
