I always have at least a few songs stuck in my head, or rather bits of multiple songs that appear in random order. Worst is when I don’t even like them, but at least lately it is stuff I actually enjoy. The current mental playlist includes stuff from Nick Cave, Prince, Propellerheads, and a few others.

Songs get stuck in there for weeks, months, or sometimes even longer before getting replaced. Again, far worse when it was something I didn’t like…such as when Madonna and Cindy Lauper tracks kept showing up on and off for well over a year. (Hope I didn’t just bring that one back by mentioning it.
