I hate the name Swayed, but don’t mind me, everybody has different opinion, there is nothing we can do about it.
I like Suede or I would call it SciY (after SciFi).
We are just on a public forum and everybody is just yapping. Just ignore it.

Indeed, there's nothing we can do about it.
The decision is made, the plugin is called Swayed. Support the developer by respecting their decision.

Personally I couldn't care less about the name. I can understand why it needs changed, but all I need to know is where to find it on an alphabetical list of my plugins!
Very much looking forward to getting my mitts on it, sounds absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to hear what people create with it.

Just picked up a pair of your preset packs yesterday btw! Sounds awesome as always. Might be a bit of a stretch but would love to see what you could so with Sheaf's plugin here!phreaque wrote: Fri Jan 16, 2026 11:47 am Indeed, there's nothing we can do about it.

At a glance your suggestion looks like Sissy. We can not ignore this. We must discuss it at length. We must flog it after it's dead.mambo888 wrote: Fri Jan 16, 2026 11:41 am I hate the name Swayed, but don’t mind me, everybody has different opinion, there is nothing we can do about it.

Yes this is just down to opinion. I'm sorry mine has bummed you though..sheaf wrote: Fri Jan 16, 2026 7:26 amI did think real long and hard about the name change. But it was very important to me to have it close enough to the original name so everyone would immediate understand that it's the same product. If it's suddenly called Thingamabob then it would be really confusing.VitaminD wrote: Fri Jan 16, 2026 6:25 am
I love it!
More seriously, I just think after all the effort in developing such a remarkable synth, all the setbacks, likely the long nights, all the highs and lows, it just seemed rather disappointing to see such a crowning achievement not get a similar care in the name. But if he likes it, that's indeed his prerogative! It's still going to function and sound the same regardless what it's called.
I tried the other closely related suggestions like SUAY and SWAY77 but in the end I wasn't vibing with them, they just didn't feel right as a logo on the UI. This one does, for me at least.
Bit of a bummer to see you claim it's just some careless decision. But no matter what name I would have chosen, at least someone would've disliked it enough to come in to voice their disapproval, so it's all good.
Yet I don't think the majority of potential end users are even aware your labor of love currently exists. So you could have named it anything at this point, including Thingamabob!
There's a number of folks that don't even know of or at least actively access kvr. So I think it's only after it's released (publicly accessible) will Swayed start to get much larger awareness. There's also word of mouth, news/review sites, and youtubers.
I wish you great success and an overwhelmingly positive response, once released.

Yep, many interesting presets in Swayed will be bundled.

Some of my sys.ex patches does react with standard MIDI vol and pan ( #7 and €10 ) controls
Some other... doesn't.
but i can't see, in the SWAYED editor, where i can change this parameter...
Are there still some little patch parameters which being edited on original TG77 and not yet editable here ?
i see the parameters for LFO pan value, but not for global volume and panpot, in Swayed.

i do see "pan bias" controller
But i see that vol #7 control seem to be set to "voice vol low limit",
and no voice vol controller.
Stangely, it seems to perform with tome patches, maybe because were set to in Atari Synthworks or "SoundDier"... but not with other patches... : from Cubase MIDI mix or MIDI controller it no acts.
maybe should i send you the voices

While in the grocery checkout line, the guy behind me was energetically discussing name brand music-studio things, via airpods, so when there was a break, I asked him if he ever visits kvraudio.com, and he replied, 'No, what's that?' I explained some pros and cons, and he said he'd check it out. He's around 30 years old, and apparently has survived 'without us' as he learned his craftVitaminD wrote: Fri Jan 16, 2026 2:15 pm There's a number of folks that don't even know of or at least actively access kvr.

I also hope great success for this Swayed project. Been playing my mini K1 today, getting back to synth roots a little, in anticipation

Welp, here's some catharsis, a swan song to what might've been. Poorly made in Canva because I have negative dollars. RIP SWAY, long live SWAYED.VitaminD wrote: Fri Jan 16, 2026 2:15 pm Yes this is just down to opinion. I'm sorry mine has bummed you though..![]()
