Made some modifications to my Dalek Synth.
- Added some samples. These are fun to play!
- Sequencers can have mute on a step.

Hi John,
Well you've dragged my music tech - shy, but Classic Dr Who - mad son into the world of synthesis...first time ever at the age of 26 he's taken any interest whatsoever!
That is seriously cool for me...made a few VERY,VERY basic synths over the years, but nothing even close to this! Awesome!
Hmmm...I wonder if he'd notice if his K-9 model went missing for a few days?

Thank you ChameleonMusic! It's never too late for sons and daughters to get involved with parents great hobbies. Most of this synth is software on the Teensy with a few switches and pots.ChameleonMusic wrote: Wed Jan 14, 2026 9:30 pm Hi John,

K-9 would make a good synth too, look over there...

Oh yes, is that really the synth interface – the "Dalek synthesizer"?
It looks like a robot you're playing around with musically.
Amazing stuff, truly inspiring. And yes, that's a real live performance.

I had to turn it up in order to hear it from my vantage point behind the sofa. This Dalek seems to be truer to the spirit of the originals, given the fact that it wouldn't be able negotiate a staircase, due to the mobility restrictions imposed by the cables.
Great sounds all round, and the addition of samples adds another string to your bow.
Good work
