How about S-Why as that is a variation not mentioned yet, on the ones already suggested.

And used a Yamaha DX7, a PPG Wave and a Roland Juno-60 for that song. No SY-77. Sorry.
About names, the suggested Model ‘77 to me is more like the name of a vintage sportscar…….

Why are ppl suggesting names?
Read his post. He has chosen a new name, it's not up for debate.

Only it's not fun or enjoyable, it's a pointless exercise that is disrespectful to the developerVitaminD wrote: Mon Jan 19, 2026 9:36 pmFor fun and enjoyment.Seafire Mk2 wrote: Mon Jan 19, 2026 9:26 pm Why are ppl suggesting names?

The name has been chosen, no one is asking for anyone's suggestions or opinions on the name
To piss all over Sheaf and the plugin isn't enjoyable or fun

He was able to escape from a comic book, you don't think he could travel to the future to procure an SY77? For that matter (and to keep this on topic), he could have time traveled to 2026 and brought Swayed and a Macbook back with him.Albert.VST wrote: Mon Jan 19, 2026 9:04 pm And used a Yamaha DX7, a PPG Wave and a Roland Juno-60 for that song. No one is "pissing all over Sheaf and the plugin" with a discussion on the name.IvyBirds wrote: Mon Jan 19, 2026 9:57 pmOnly it's not fun or enjoyable, it's a pointless exercise that is disrespectful to the developerVitaminD wrote: Mon Jan 19, 2026 9:36 pmFor fun and enjoyment.Seafire Mk2 wrote: Mon Jan 19, 2026 9:26 pm Why are ppl suggesting names?

If you don't find this discussion fun or enjoyable, I suggest you find another thread. Or put us on ignore. We already know the name is set. We can still discuss what we please, without your dictatorship controlling us.
If anything, we're helping by keeping this thread at the top of the stack, which brings more viewers to it. If we didn't find Sheaf's work interesting, we wouldn't even be here. Most (all?) of us are excited for the eventual release!!
