The only item that keeps piquing my interest is an OB-6 module, which I sold last year and now wish I had again.
Not even a month into 2026 and my GAS for an OB-6 became too much - just bought another desktop module and should have it tomorrow. It's funny, years ago the OB-6 was the least attractive Sequential synth to me. Then, I started to warm up to it and found a no-brainer deal, so I snagged it and actually really liked it. The only reason I sold it was because I also bought an OB-X8 and a TEO-5 and decided that the OB-6 was redundant. Flash forward a year and I realized that I should have kept the OB-6 to complement the OB-X8 instead of the TEO-5, so that's where I am. Thanks for enduring my boring saga. :hihi:

I'm in a quandary

I have some amazon money from Xmas, and was going to use it to buy a TD3 next week when I gey more...tho I do have enough to get one already, but

They donf have the silver or yellow on amazon, so I might just get one from G4M or Andertons

Now I'm thinking about using the 'zon money to get another desktop unit. As much as I want all the clones, I am leaning towards the Proton. Will work nicely with my small modular, and sounds really good on vids I've watched. For some reason it's still cheaper than the Neutron (don't want the fx)

Any Proton fans?

Woohoo!
indeed! its a monster! :D
It really is a hell of a synth. 8)
I got one a few years ago as a more affordable (compared to individual modules) way to expand my modular setup and it has worked out great. The balance of sound quality, features, and flexibility for the price is hard to beat.

Yeah boi :hyper:

It was £86, which was more expensive than my previous originals. Bought and sold 2 for £50 in the 80s

I've been dreaming of a stereo BBD delay in rack format for more than a decade. Finally someone has answered but in true monkey's paw style. I should be careful what I wish for:

Fuckin lol... I love Knif and also dream of getting a Soma, Eksa and Sora from them but $4k for a delay/saturator is way out of my price range.

If someone wants to put 8-12x MN3005s in a stereo rack mount and charge around $2k, I would gladly get one.

And if it all works out.. a lot more space for lovely gear in the future. Still months away but making progress.
Just had my offer accepted on a house. It’s not any bigger in floor space than the one I’m renting now but it is detached so that’s a nice upgrade from a mid terrace which should mean no worried about annoying neighbours with my music or me getting annoyed by theirs.

And now I have been told there’s a bunch of hand sitting ahead as it takes months to get finalised.

Meanwhile I will have dreamy dreams about being able to house a real drum kit and a big old Ampeg bass amp etc.

Are you safe?

It’s the polished wood. It’s always an automatic extra 2K!
