URSA Major Space Station SST-206

Post

A new dev on-the-scene John Wheeler is about to release his emulation of the Ursa Major SST-206 (hardware from 2004), which seems to be based on a replica of the Ursa Major SST-282 (hardware from 1978), simulated by Audority in their UM282.

I assume this is his website but he hasn't released it yet so no mentions.

Not hard to find - his YT channel is called "TemeculaDSP", so I tried that with a .com:

Coming soon - $50.

Yeah, ok, my research was weak and bad.

Hi everybody! I'm John the developer. I was searching to see if my website has been listed by Google and I came across this thread. I just want to let you know that I got the code signing complete for both the Mac and Windows versions. The software is ready.

Checkout https://www.TemeculaDSP.com

Also, right now I'm going through the schematics and PROMs of the Stargate 323 and I have the 626 PROMs on order through eBay. It's much more complicated, but I think it's going to be a beast. There's already an open source version of the 323, but the 626 is like a Space Station on steroids with longer decay and 8 new echo programs (as opposed to reverb programs)

Thanks for your interest and let me know if you have any questions

Hi John!

Apologies for my atrocious initial research. Your commitment to recreating the hardware device is seriously impressive and it probably won't be long before it's in my collection :)

It looks like you're on a (plugin development) roll so I can't wait to see what you come up with! (beyond the 323/626 plans).
Well done for getting your first plugin to market!
And welcome to KVR, where the plugin enthusiasts tread (over and on each other)

I am happy to see that someone posted my video for others to see, so thank you for that. And, thank you for the warm welcome! I look forward to participating more on this forum.

Cool demo of the hardware.
