Sticking to my secret weapons,
This is the list of VSTi plugins,
I promise I will not buy (was thinking on buying but decided other way).

Gforce software Map
(GUI looks small and problematic, sound is too experimental)

Native Instruments Absynth6
(My boxed Absynth3 and downloadable v5 is more than enough - I don't use them anyway)

Anything more from Native Instruments
(Komplete 12 is what I have, I only use Kontakt from that)

Ultra Audio Ultra
(I am just old enough , and have enough "supersynths". If you don't have this kind of synth and find Ultra unique, just grab it while the intro price is valid.)

U-he Ace and Bazille
(I've really tried to like them but modular stuff is not for me.)

Anything more from Arturia
(I only have Pigments and Korg MS-20, that should be enough)

Anything more from Tone2
(Just have Icarus)

UPDATEs to my list:

Reason Rack as a PLUGIN (why? --> see my post on the 2nd page)

Korg Gadget3 Plugins for PC (why? --> see my post on the 3rd page)

Thanks for the update. Imagine the output if this level of focus went into actually making something. What a remarkably empty way to fill time and making nothing sound important. Triste..
Its over for Bitwig--CUBASE WON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are in a delusion : )
I'm a hobbyist, not a musician.
You know notin' bout' me, and believe it when I say, huge level of focus went into many things in my life.
I've just made this list to other KVRians who, like me have all the tools they need, however they demo brand new stuff.
Imho its important to say NO. That's all.
Don't try to deeply analyse this.

please write this to your twitter, facebook or any other wall. Dont treat kvr like your profile wall, because believe me, not many (if any at all) people care here what synths you are going to ignore. Its a bit selfish and disrespectful to others to do that what you did.

It's democracy - everyone can have a list.

Call it "Your "No to List" in 2026" instead and let people contribute the plugins they were on the edge of buying, but decided against. Not the most interesting list IMHO, but there are hundreds of lists at KVR, and some are worse...

Post

Shouldn't the thread title be 'My "No-to" List in 2026'?

I think this list is worse, yes.

I vote to ban you therefore reported for trashing the thread. Democracy - everyone can report you for being abusive community member.

Be sure to let us know when you start your "I just took a dump" or "I had breakfast" lists too.

Breakfast list is a good idea, I think. Porridge with blueberries for me, and a coffee. Pretty good.

Who needs more drum machines?
You can't have enough drums, just my opinion.
Will not expand Toontrack drums, because their factory kits are always the best.
I somehow like Slate drum plugin, but never decided to buy it and probably never will.
XLN Audio drums I have for many yesrs, don't use them today any more, though.
I am fine with U-he Zebra, Zebra 3 will definitetely be next purchase, other U-he synths are not tempting for me.
I don't buy Native Instruments, Sonible, Plugin Alliance, Arturia, Softube, McDSP, and Tone2 products, just don't like their products for my music. When UAD released native plugins, it was not tempting, because I already had most plugins from other devs.

Probably I won't buy UVI products, I am fine with UVI Workstation and some synth expansions I bought.

I demoed Serum, Dune and...(I forgot) two times, good synths, since I have Avenger, not in need to have them and still like Sylenth1.

Scuffham amps plugin I demoed several times, it just isn't better than what I already have, though.

I think Zebra 3 is the only plugin I know I will buy and maybe some new Cherry synth depends on what they will release.
Since Yamaha might start releasing plugins this year, I will see whether I will like them.

I am completely done with reverbs, compressors, eqs and channel strips, have more than enough.
Not interested in any AI products.

No, that's a "what I like for breakfast" list.

What we need is a "I had breakfast" list. Your choice whether to include days where you don't have breakfast.

I think a not-to-buy list is more fun than these endless what‘s my favorite synth list, each 2nd thread turns out to be.

So I am getting popcorn and beer and going to enjoy how it‘s going.
