Fender Studio Pro 8 Released

I haven't used it yet, but from reviewing Fender Studio, I'm assuming the amp sims are on input so you can hear them while you're playing/recording. How many DAWs can do that? If you've tried it, lMK.

Every DAW can do that, that how all DAWS work.

daw is sick but stability wise this is the worst yet. i yearn for s1 to go sandboxing. stability is the only reason I don't adopt. I've got other gripes but I would classify them as minor.

Crashiest version for me too. Sandboxing is a great idea, maybe my number 1 hope other than stability and better cpu efficiency.

For the time being I'll stick version 6 and treat 8 as an experimental playground for new ideas. I don't trust it yet to invest serious time into. Stress tests so far suggest (at least on my system) it can't handle heavier sessions.

They added something called Tonalic to this release, another toy to play around with. I can't wait for the ultimate plugin called 'make the music for me' but I guess that's what AI is for.

You can use Tonalic with Studio One 7, and it integrates nicely via ARA. Tonalic Essentials is free for Melodyne users, and it appears to be available for free with version Studio Pro 8 as well.

If you're being serious, I can and do that with literally every amp sim I own. How else would you record?

So f**king what? Presonus no longer exists. Who f**king cares what they did or didn't make? They certainly didn't create Studio One, they bought a German company who had already done the work. So why aren't you pissed off that it's not called Kristal Labs Studio One? Why did Presonus have to steal its identity in 2009 when they bought the company?

Then explain to me how Fender Studio predates Studio Pro by 5 years or so? Fender Studio was released in 2021, when the entry level version of Studio One was still available for free and the Artist version was still being sold. So how does that fit with your bullshit? You need to grow the f**k up and stop behaving like a spoiled five year-old. It's a new version of the same product we've all been using for years, what brand is on it makes absolutely no difference to that or anything else.

Do you even know what Servco is? Do you know their history? They've been in the music business even longer than Fender. They bought out a venture capital group, TPG, to protect Fender. That's made them the largest shareholder but they don't own Fender. Again, it pays to do your research, lest you make a complete dick of yourself.

Servco are the majority shareholder and therefore the majority owner of Fender. They literally do own Fender, as most of us understand the word.

Ack - apparently they tried to improve the messy take-system and made it even much worse! It's a complete disaster at this point.

Right now I'm having buyer's remorse even though I only paid CHF70 for the update (from V5 in my case).
