It is closest probably to tracks one would find on early EM or electro records. It is whatever you want to define it within musical terms of those times which would be broadly Electronic Music, or seeing it is more bouncy than Tangerine Dream, you would be perfectly fine to call it Synth Pop as it is both of those at once.

It is cute, if not perhaps a little overlong on first listen seeing there isn't much in the way of new ideas in it. What was the new synth?

Hi! Thanks a lot for the feedback. I was wondering if the ever-changing
sounds (but on the same chords turn-around for nine minutes!) could have

Good call on Tangerine Dream with a synth-pop touch.
As a matter of fact, I've been listening to a lot of Mouse on Mars
albums recently; they're indeed electronic *crossover* artists. They're
German too, like Tangerine Dream (if that means anything).

Well, "interesting" is rather subjective. One person's interesting is another person's dull. I found it interesting because I like all the different sounds. I actually do a lot of stuff like this myself. All in all, I enjoyed listening to it.

I'd say it's in ambient-glitch territory, with happy melodies, I don't really understand it though. I don't know how you knew what to do with the synth, or where to take the sounds. The arrangement is perplexing

Thanks, I appreciate what you say. I've followed the sounds rather that planning them, so it's more about experimenting than arranging a track.

Great track, never gets boring. The drums are very cool and how you change drums during the track or leave space with no drums. Did you learn from Miles Davis? Sounds like you played it in real time without midi, so cool.
I imagine children would like it a lot, too and that's very good!

You should give this genre a name and you are the creator!

Definetely deserves an creativity or new or rare category award.

Thanks a lot Najimad! Yes Miles Davis! (surprising that you mentioned him here) I do not dare to compare, but indeed I learned from his sessions on albums (which I love from "Tribute to Jack Johnson" onwards), to free myself from usual style patterns.

The drums are loops with live tweaking, real time also is the sound mangling on the synths.

Lots of little hooky melody lines hidden in there as well!

Plenty of subtle variation in there, but at 9 mins, I personally would want a little bit more rise and fall...I would've loved to hear a slow, sustained tune triumphantly soaring above the intricate rhythms once or twice?

Thanks! There are indeed two ways to add value or make it easier: editing it to an acceptable 5 minutes track or to work on arrangement to build a suite of different "moments". Thanks again for the feedback.

Yea definitely could be interesting....as has been mentioned it drags on a bit....I feel if you could make the track shorter and/or add more variation that would be a great improvement
