I'm really looking forward to the Virus TI, who knows, maybe I'll get one :) (and oh, is it in stores yet??? :S )

But I don't understand how the synths' audio output is handled... They say: "The Virus' master outputs (including subgroups) seamlessly integrate into the sequencer's audio channels, just as VST / AU instruments do."

Does that mean that the audio is transferred into the sequencer(computer) via the USB cable, or do you have to connect the audio output from the actual synth to your Audio card's input???

PS: do you think that the Virus TI is worth the extra ONE THOUSAND dollars, compared to the Virus Classic ?? ... it's still just to tempting :)

i believe it's through the usb cable, otherwise it doesn't make much sense for a usb cable only to deliver the midi via asio drivers.

You can have roughly 2-4 stereo channels in the virus control (the vsti/au frontend to the Ti basically) depending on the bitrate you use and if and how many channels you send back to the Ti from the sequencer. The exact number is still being speculated on, as when Marc Schlaile made the statement the OS for the Ti was still being worked on and betatesting has been going on. What you quite probably won't be getting is 16 stereo outs though, unfortunately.
