LANDR apply the same strategy that already drived to a massive customers exode during the last 5 years, the only difference is just that the retarded seq part will just no more evolve, RE will continue to lose customers and we potentialy just no more see anything new except overpriced players that should be integrated in reason since the day one with every update

so the only question is just "who will or just want to be the next Reason investor in 2029 ?"

I haven't thought up a use case for MIDI wiring. I get it seems like the day but mostly past the basics, MIDI was for Multitimbral in one box (covered above) or Layering (Combinator does that better). MIDI could pull up FX patches, and maybe some units could change parameters (without SysEx), but again, that is Automation, which is super well covered in Reason (CV and Seq Lanes, not to mention Combi - which I will say doesn't like two things talking to the same parameter).

I'm not saying y'all are wrong, just not seeing a genuine use case. Perhaps you can explain as if I don't see it, perhaps RS don't either.

Any situation where you want two synths to modulate each other but not play the same melody. To use all kinds of signals to trigger and affect each other in weird interconnected networks. Not having this in the rack plugin was pretty much the first thing I noticed when I opened it — and a downgrade from ReWire — but i’ve had to explain why many times so I guess most people don’t use Reason this way.

There hasn't been a single update delivered under LANDR and you already know what route they take and how they'e gonna fail? Really?

I think Reason is in pretty safe hands in terms of active development and the lower pricing and rack only version indicate some business sense IMO.

Surely the people who wants or uses the rack that way (which you can call "very nerdy modular use cases") are ok with the DAW part of Reason and use it.
