Conclusion: avoid these people. I certainly can't recommend buying from them. The whole experience hasn't been positive.
Welcome to the club, and add broken promises to update their valuables old plugins to new resizable and modern GUIs. Never done. I dismissed them all.
Yeah, it's not acceptable is it.

I think I'm going to take some advice from Paypal as to my rights for a refund.

Still, you live and learn

Don't know about their support, but it is almost impossible to produce music without AIR plugins, they kinda exist since forever.

That doesn't seem true. I was doing just fine without using anything they've produced.

I don't have the plugin you're having issues with, but it seems to me it's pretty specific to the app and it's midi handling and not the DAW. I record full automation in Reaper all the time, including MPE.

I think Andreya has some great suggestions.

Also keep in mind most folks are actually trying to be helpful, but drive by quick advice without full reading comprehension, will always cause angst.
No need to scold folks for trying, if you think the advice is bad, just move on to the next post.

Good luck.
Yes, i think it's the vst. The fact this isn't a universal issue for me, acorss a multitude of different vst's, indicates that.

Furthermore, no one was scolded for trying. Quite the opposite. Having to relitigate that is not work I wish to perform. That user made it quite clear he didn't understand the situation and simply assumed it was my fault, offering no solution of any kind.

Again: I welcome positive productive comments. But because I have a problem I need solving, it doesn't follow that it's ok to tolerate unproductive or unreasonable behaviour. Thank you

That doesn't seem true. I can't even imaging having no Air plugin.

I have to correct, I just checked and there are three projects with no AIR plugins.
Now I might add or replace something, I am a loyal customer and user!

If they work for you then, great.

My issue at this time isn't even the silly lack of midi learn.

It's that AIR's cusomter\tech support have decided they aren't interested in supporting me.

Do you think that's ok, as a loyal customer?

Thanks for letting us know.
It can be interesting to also share that my projects have been AiR free for some years now :)

AiR plugins were great, and I know it's me, but I have hard times using something from a company I don't respect... and that doesn't respect me... even if I purchased the products and invested on them :\

Their company is a complete mess. I'm in three different conversations with them because each time I try and ommunicate a different person responds. I've been asked twice to provide information, they already received that info because they quoted it in a subsequent reply.

They would offer me a refudn but their own rules say they can't and apparently they are as inviolable as the laws of nature. They did however offer a swap for another vst, but they have nothing else I need or want. Seems weird that the former option is impossible for them, but the second is. Even if it means a more expensive vst. Weird

I'll keep the plug in if i have to because I want an SH101 vst and this one is otherwise quite good. But i won't be buying anything else from them.

Ah, a 101. Have you ever demoed the D16 Lush 2 by any chance? I can't speak for it's accuracy but I think it's pretty good. It was on sale last year I think for $49. Might be worth keeping an eye out for another sale because full price is too high these days imo.

Yes. I wasn't taken with it. It diesn't sound like the 101 at all. Perfectly fine otherwise, but I don't need it
