Yes so far getting a seed investor as someone mentioned seems to be the best thing i can do.Lind0n wrote: Tue Jan 27, 2026 10:55 amGo back to the readme and read it again, you seem to be doing the exact opposite of what it instructs you to do. Let me precis for you:ShredofLight wrote: Tue Jan 27, 2026 3:56 amYes i did, I kept it vague in hopes of finding a good samaritan to lead me in the right direction.
- you will need a professional developer
- they will need to make a living - so you will have to pay realistic rates - thats going to be more than they can earn at MacDonalds...
- nearly every pro developer has a book full of ideas, you need to convince them to do your idea not one of theirs.

I am pretty confident that i can convince a pro developer that loves music with my idea, if i can find him.

Yes. Just try it. You will learn interesting things, and you might only lose some time, and you need some technical insights in any case.

There are more pro developers in this forum than probably any other place on the internet (with maybe the exception of the JUCE forums)...We are all sitting here, tell us your idea...ShredofLight wrote: Tue Jan 27, 2026 11:29 am I am pretty confident that i can convince a pro developer that loves music with my idea, if i can find him.

I looked already in a patent database and couldn't find anything remotely close. There is a possibility we could be writing down history, since it seems nothing like this was ever attempted and it is, indeed , an evolution of what we have now.

Without diving into actual coding you might be able to build a prototype, just to test the feasability. Some usable tools: Matlab, Max4Live (formerly Reaktor? ) or standard audio building blocks in a DAW like the giy in this linked video did.

The best thing you could do Mr ShredOfLight is to build it yourself.
Statements like this
"The way i see it ( and i know it is not saying much) everybody will want to use it because it will make literally everything sound better independent of what style of music they play."
make you sound as if you don't actually know the industry at all because these are lines MAANNYY companies use to trick people into buying their product. You're trying to sell a mysterious idea to devs, you're going to have to be a bit more open.
Get MAX, or Pure Data, or plogue bidule, and start trying to understand basic DSP and trying to understand how your genius tool is going to be built. I promise you will learn from the process, and being able to understand the thing you want to build and talk about it with some kind of awareness will be useful to both you and the dev.

This. Get a proof of concept, a working prototype, first. Because a programmer isnt going to fix problems with the stage where your idea has to map on to the real world.CinningBao wrote: Tue Jan 27, 2026 1:41 pm Get MAX, or Pure Data, or plogue bidule, and start trying to understand basic DSP and trying to understand how your genius tool is going to be built. An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

Well that is the point, i don't know the industry at all, that is why i am seeking help. These companies might be using these lines, but i believe in this case we will be able to use those lines without shame. The plugin itself doesn't need to produce sound, so i don't know how usefull those tools would be.CinningBao wrote: Tue Jan 27, 2026 1:41 pm The best thing you could do Mr ShredOfLight is to build it yourself.

I learnt coding in the 90s, something that said pascal if i remenber correctly, and there was something with basic in the name also. It is all gone. Only thing i remenber is the writing down the algorithm part, breaking down the process step by step of how to change a flat tire

Ok, then we have a whole list of things you don't want to do:
- Learn coding
- Use no-code tools to prototype
- Invest time because of youtube and day job
- Invest money to pay a professional dev
- Talk about your idea
What do you want to do, then?
