It`s not a bug... it`s a feature!

Impressive! This might finally push Kontakt out of the spotlight. Makes it feel dated in nearly every area.
Its over for Bitwig--CUBASE WON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post

Looks really nice. It would be good to hear something about licensing and their business model.

Timing is everything.

Too soon, man, too soon.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

was coming to make this thread lol...I love independence, tx16wx and MSF...i like shortcircuit, renoise, wusik, highlife/bliss for different individual reasons...I don't mind using any of the big boys structure, halion, falcon, and kontakt, as quirks and holes aside, they can all get the job done...I liked the spirit behind maize and hise...but based on realitone's track record and the modernity of what looks to be coalescing here,...this looks like it has real potential to be the most exciting thing in samplers for a long while...spectrasonics and mntra and 8dio could have had a big head start if they had just opened their players like folks asked cause they're all already full of forward thinking...we'll see if this pushes them over the edge

I see soniccouture, soundiron, and Joshua Bell, are already on board...realitone and Javelin audio of course...and I saw ocean swift inquiring on YT...interesting

Music had a one night stand with sound design.....And the condom broke

No mention of supported OSes. I would sure love native Linux support.
Vendor‑Dependent Copy Protection: Customers lose. Pirates win.
(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

That would be a dream, let's hope.

Agreed! Linux needs more than anything access to real / acoustic deeply sampled instruments. This would be a godsend for every Linux audio user! I didn't see any link for communicating with them, otherwise I would have already been writing them. :)

I've been doing some research, and here is who I believe is the company behind the KODA Sampler:

Realitone

Realitone was founded in 2007 by composer and songwriter / producer Mike Greene. We make sample libraries.

Actually, Steven H. is the principal developer, he used to work for 8Dio/worked on Soundpaint. After quitting, he started working on Koda, and Mike Greene/Realitone jumped at a later point as an investor only - not as owner.

Nice! Do you know how we can reach Steven H.? We need to request Linux support. :D

Edit:

"The Koda team is Steven Harbor @StevenH (the creator of this sampler), @Jdiggity1, @Land of Missing Parts, and a few other people."
