Problem with Nuendo - Velocity adjustments trigger note

Weird problem just surfaced here - when I edit the velocity of notes in the controller lane (key editor) with the pencil tool the note is triggered! Happens when I release the mouse button.

Can't figure out what has caused this to start happening.

Anyone out there have the same problem .. or know how to change this behaviour?
