Hi all,
I’m a new developer and longtime audio nerd, and I finally worked up the courage to share some plugins I’ve been building.
My approach has been recording real analog gear into reel-to-reel tape, then modeling what I hear and feel from those recordings. I’m less interested in lab-perfect emulations and more interested in musical response, saturation, and vibe.
I’ve just made free trials available and would really appreciate any feedback from people who are willing to spend a little time with them — especially whether they feel useful or inspiring in real-world sessions.
Site is here if you want to check them out:

Thanks for letting a newcomer share, and I appreciate any thoughts you’re willing to offer.

Macintosh only is going to limit your reach, as Windows is the dominant OS for music production. They look cool, though.

Ya, I go thru a long process to try and get things right, I record tracks with vintage gear, into a reel to reel recorder (tascam 388) then export to logic and analyze the audio in multiple ways. (trying to find a great tone and real feel) I am only 4 plugins down, so still learning and have 2 more in the works. Oh, and Ya I do have the plugins built in VST3 for PC too, I just haven't tested them yet. its a lot of work for one guy haha.

There are probably people here who would be happy to test it for you. Just be clear about expectations (say you're asking for someone to try with no expectations of any success or reward) to avoid later hassles. There's nothing wrong with asking for help. The people who want more than you're willing to give can move on. It's KVR, though, so they will almost certainly... use their freedom of expression. Having said that, it's also okay to just... not.getyourgrooveon wrote: Wed Jan 28, 2026 7:40 pm Oh, and Ya I do have the plugins built in VST3 for PC too, I just haven't tested them yet. its a lot of work for one guy haha.![]()
I am a PC user who would be willing to give it a try with no expectation of success or reward. Feel free to PM me.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

Ok, I will look into it a bit, what DAW do you use? I may do some basic testing first and then reach out to you. thank you!

The DAW I use most often is Waveform, which has the debatable advantage of being strict (finicky) with plugins. They also make something called pluginval which could be useful for you.getyourgrooveon wrote: Wed Jan 28, 2026 11:15 pm Ok, I will look into it a bit, what DAW do you use?

I also use FL Studio and Reaper.

Thanks for the Pluginval suggestion: I’ve run all four plugins through pluginval (strictness 5) on macOS and they passed clean. I will let you know about the windows version, there are a few hurdles to figure out.

I would consider looking at Win VST Plugins. I use Reason on Win 11. Generally, if it behaves in Reason, it generally works fine anywhere.
I have Reaper as well. I also have older versions/demos of Fender One (S1 hihi) and Bitwig 8-Track but rarely worth the effort, see Reason comment above.
As a high-level Dev myself (in SynthEdit) I understand general needs. I am easy to research. The Higher Hz freebies, Hz Delay, Hz Mutiplier etc were me too.
