Looking for a probabilistic-type glitch effect plugin

Hi
I'm looking for a glitch FX plugin that can do shuffling, stuttering, reversing (and preferably other types of processing as well, like pitching, filtering, distortion, degrading) and that is based on probability, meaning that you set a probability amount for each of those individual effects and then the plugin will randomly apply those effects more or less often depending on the probability amount. So I'm not looking for a sequencer/pattern-based glitch plugin like Effectrix, Looperator, Infiltrator or Glitch2.
Any suggestions?

Indeed, Glitch2 has the Randomizer feature that in theory is exactly what I need. Unfortunately it doesn't work as expected. For one there's the fact that however you set the weight for each module it will only enable one effect at a time. There's no way you can have the signal processed by two or more effects at the same time, even if you set the weight for some of the modules to 100%. And this is a deal breaker for me. Also, however you set the weight for the modules there's no way you can get the dry/unprocessed signal some of the times. For example, if I set the weight for the LoFi module at 20%, the weight of the Reverser module at 20% and all the other modules at 0% I would expect to have the LoFi module enabled 20% of the time, the Reverser module enabled 20% of the time and 60% of the time to have the signal unprocessed. But it doesn't work that way. Actually it doesn't matter if you set the weight for both those modules at 10%, 20%, 50% or 100% you still get the same result: each of those modules gets enabled half the time. Also, however you set the weight for the Randomizer module itself it doesn't seem to have any effect. You can set it to 0% or 100% and there's absolutely no difference. It might be a bug, I don't know.

if you can find an effect that has midi triggering then you can use a probabilistic sequencer like Stochas https://stochas.org/ or one of the HY sequencers to drive it. Devious Machines Infiltrator works for that - it has midi triggering

Unfiltered Audios BYOME maybe? I haven’t tried it but there is a probability gate in the modulation section.

If I'm understanding you correctly, Audio Damage Replicant 3 might be what you're looking for: https://www.audiodamage.com/collections ... eplicant-3

This is where I have ended up in the quest to apply randomness to everything.

Yes, Replicant 3 is very close to what I'm looking for. It does stuttering, repeating and reversing but unfortunately it can't do shuffling meaning that it can't play random slices from the buffer, it always plays the current slice.morphex wrote: Thu Jan 29, 2026 1:56 am If I'm understanding you correctly, Audio Damage Replicant 3 might be what you're looking for: https://www.audiodamage.com/collections ... eplicant-3
There's also chrisGlitch from Bom Shanka Machines which is a nice plugin and somewhat similar to Replicant and this one can do shuffling but unfortunately it spits out a lot of clicks even with the "clicks removal" option enabled, so it's pretty much useless.

Turnado is quite powerful and versatile but it's not a probabilistic plugin, meaning that you can't set a probability amount for each effect, so it's not quite what I'm looking for. Of course you can somehow mimic a probability-based behavior by using some complex modulation for the parameters and for the Dictator thingy but it's quite cumbersome, convoluted and not fun.

I haven't tried it myself, but Nexora ($50) mentions a 'shuffle' effect as well as the ability to select random 'tracks' of effect sequences. No purely random probabilities, as far as I can see.
