There are still a number of tracks not made downloadable yet. Please make sure it's not you, we might send the heavies around
Right? I'm still genuinely amazed by how good Synthmaster sounds out of the box!Polynik77 wrote: Sun Feb 01, 2026 12:02 pm Very (happily?) surprised how little fx were needed with SynthMaster One.
Yeah, I really like their comment functionality, being able to comment at specific times, and the sorting options. They did some things excellently. But it's clearly been enshitified :/ I'm glad I'm in good company at least lol.Vospi wrote: Sun Feb 01, 2026 6:57 pm My average experience with Soundcloud seemingly worsens every year, I regret giving them my money and buying in the ecosystem. And while the audio comments still look cool and the UI still gives me good memories, I actively tell every student to avoid SC subscription for multiple reasons
It's one of the more endearing things about SoundCloud...aarongrooves wrote: Mon Feb 02, 2026 10:47 pm Question for the community: Should I comment less?
I love giving feedback while listening, because I also like receiving it. I consider any insight into how people experience my music to be a huge privilege. So I tend to comment anything I think could be relevant. Soundcloud, however, doesn't like me commenting so much:
Anyway, I'm just curious what others think. If I have 3-5 thoughts, is 3-5 comments on a track too many?
Probably a case of heartless capitalism being confounded that some humans actually like to help each other. (plus algorithms making decisions devoid of any context or capability to comprehend)
Despite being me not so good at leaving comments, getting them is one of the most rewarding part of the OSC, no matter if positive or negative; it makes me feel "listened", not just "voted" (I know it is almost never the case, still i feel this way). I'm so sad that when a user leaves soundcloud his comments disappear: they were part of the history of my track.aarongrooves wrote: Mon Feb 02, 2026 10:47 pm Question for the community: Should I comment less?

I agree with riot, not doing all comments on one or two days would usually be better. I think your comments are very competent and positive, so keep on commenting.aarongrooves wrote: Mon Feb 02, 2026 10:47 pm Question for the community: Should I comment less?
