So, I have been really busy writing a new utility and haven't had much time to help with support here. But, the app is somewhat finished and almost ready for release. The hold up is a technical issue on the web site. (Should be resolved next week, though).

So, what is it? It's a utility that can generate a timeline for your video editor that produces a perfect slideshow with your favorite images and audio. What a great way to show off your musical talents, eh?

I can't release the download for it till the technical issue with the site is resolved, but, you can sign up for an email when it's available.

You do need a video editor and know how to use it.

Anyways, I announce the arrival of SlideShow Bob! Yea, named after my cat, Bob. lol, but, see it and read about on the web site, www.GBMusicTech.com

Hope you find it useful!

Well, still ironing out some minor details, but, moving along with it. This will be the last post about this here, by me, as I don't want to hijack Atilla's work here.

But, some possibilities on the site might be a section about audio programming, C++, Python, JUCE API, wxWidgets, VST's etc. I am pretty fluent with all of these, so, hey, ya never know. So, if you might be interested in learning about any of these topics, keep it in mind.
cheers!

Almost there with the web site.. in the spirit of the title of this thread, I have a very quick video on the site showing what it can do and at the end of the video I play the timeline I created in the video, which is 3 songs I had recorded some time ago. Not really anything midi, but, more guitar focused. Two of the songs you hear a key board, but, it isn't a key board. It's me playing the guitar with a EHX pedal, the B-9. The last song is a collaboration with a good friend of mine who sang the vocals to Sam Cooks Bring it Home To Me. I do the guitar and bass and he did vocals and keys. Mr. Ez Drummer helped too :)

I know how much work it takes to create a music application as an independent developer, so it's always worth checking out new releases like this. Well done, BluGenes! Feel free to try it and see if it fits your workflow.

Thanks,
Attila
