For whatever reason KVR doesn't seem to be all that keen on most United Plugins stuff, not even the excellent JMG plugins, and I'm not sure why that is.
But I really like a lot of the United Plugins VSTs, especially BitPunk, FirePresser, Cyberdrive, Hyperspace, WideFire and Autoformer.
I've not personally tried the FireEQ so I can't speak on that one but I imagine it's of the same high quality as other United Plugins releases.

I needed a multiband chorus plugin, I bought Duoflux (it was cheap) and I got Fire EQ as a free gift. I don't know if I'll ever use it (I have lots of EQ plugins) but I must say that Widefire gets a lot of use. It works well, does the job.
