Zen Pro is on sale at Plugin Boutique for $114 USD until Feb 15th.

I fired it up today as I haven't revisited it in a long time and was really having a lot of fun with just playing the presets. Mighty tempting at that price.

So what's the deal with this Zenology ipad announcement? I don't see it in the app store. Is that meant to be more or less the full Zenology?

Thank you for sharing. I had an eye on the full version, so this is really tempting now.braincandy wrote: Sun Feb 01, 2026 12:18 am Zen Pro is on sale at Plugin Boutique for $114 USD until Feb 15th.

It’s not released yet - “Coming Soon”.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Sun Feb 01, 2026 2:54 am So what's the deal with this Zenology ipad announcement? I don't see it in the app store. Is that meant to be more or less the full Zenology?
I expect it’s more or less the same as the Zenology GX in Galaxias, missing a few features from Pro, and no model expansions, but otherwise it’s more or less the same.

And yet we still haven’t. I think it is an absolute disgrace that software pirates are able to own the BOSS Pedal Effects plugin for free, yet I am not even allowed to buy it.Jon at Roland wrote: Tue Dec 16, 2025 7:17 pmThere hasn't been an official announcement for the release of BOSS Effects as LTK's but I have been including this feedback every week and BOSS are well aware of this request, hopefully we'll see some movement on it soon!jamcat wrote: Thu Dec 11, 2025 12:11 am Jon, when will Roland be announcing perpetual licenses for the BOSS Effects Pedals plugin?

Why Zenology Pro (VST3 Win version) has many automatable VST parameters but only the ones visible on the Basic page (Cutoff, Reso, Attack, Release, Vibrato) react to automation in Cubase Pro 15 ?
What about the rest, e.g. TVA Levels, etc. ?
Is this a feature... or just a huge bug?
thanks!

Don’t they offer perpetual licenses? Iirc they do, you should check!jamcat wrote: Mon Feb 02, 2026 7:53 amAnd yet we still haven’t. I'd call it a huge bug! As you’ve noted; automation for many controls is present. Recording them from the GUI does nothing. If you write automation for them (by switching from the GUI to the Generic Editor) the only ones, which respond, are the basic controls.tripleflows wrote: Thu Feb 05, 2026 9:01 am Why Zenology Pro (VST3 Win version) has many automatable VST parameters but only the ones visible on the Basic page (Cutoff, Reso, Attack, Release, Vibrato) react to automation in Cubase Pro 15 ?

Why the hell would you include a whole bunch of automation and then NOT connect it to anything on the plugin?! That’s a question only Roland could answer. The more cynically minded might suggest Roland doesn’t want their software having better control, over their sound engines, than what their hardware can offer.
Whilst more limited, than the automation they’ve left disabled, you CAN right-click controls and assign a MIDI CC to them instead. Perhaps Roland thought having two ways, to automate the same thing, would confuse? But, since this already applies to the basic controls, even that doesn’t really make sense! And disconnecting nearly all of the automation controls would seem like a rather extreme solution!

Thanks for confirming it. We are talking about a VST priced at 300 USD.
Jon at Roland, what is your response for this?

Ok seems they are hidden inside the plugin - only the plugin wasn't accessing them so I had to copy them from inside the plugin into the application folder - now they show - weird!
