Yes, agreed. Not that it's worth discussing but the Andromeda had 4 oscillators.isuckatproducing wrote: Wed Feb 04, 2026 9:13 pm It's discontinued synth though, It has only 2 OSC and won't give me other flavours of sound, like buying 3 different clones.![]()

I need to find out if I can for sure get for example 2x sawtooth OSC and white noise controlled by same filter.
I know I will need to patch it, but if it's not possible then it would be a bummer.

Have you done any research at all, or are you just relying on us to do it for you?

That needs 3 osc, so only the Model D can do that from this list straight out of the box. Most synths tend to be 2 osc. However the K2 has an external input so should be able to mix in a 3rd oscillator. Dunno if the ProOne has external input, didn't think so...isuckatproducing wrote: Wed Feb 04, 2026 9:51 pm I need to find out if I can for sure get for example 2x sawtooth OSC and white noise controlled by same filter.

No one is forcing you to do anything.

In the manual it says
Noise Generator(66)
PINK - output from the pink noise generator.
(67) WHITE - output from the white noise generator.
(68) TRIG SW OUT - trigger switch output.
(69) TRIG SW- manual trigger switch.

Okay I'm blind, the first OSC has noise option, I can see it now.
So I guess I can't do 2x OSC + Noise.

Kobol Expander can do it. Has 2 osc and a noise that can be patched into 'vcf audio in'kritikon wrote: Thu Feb 05, 2026 12:13 amThat needs 3 osc, so only the Model D can do that from this list straight out of the box. Isn't K2 MK2 better synth overall though? Have you tried both perhaps?Seafire Mk2 wrote: Thu Feb 05, 2026 6:13 amKobol Expander can do it. Haven't personally tried the K2, but it's on my list. I'm not really in an either or state of mind. Just buying the ones I fancy as and when.

They're quite different character. Difficult to say one is "better" than the other with many synths. Moogs are the only ones that I'd personally call "worse" than almost anything else but I admit to being outrageously biased

What I would love next would be a cheap Behringer analog synth with sound similar to Virus TI2 or JP-8080.

Are there even analog synths like that?

On the K2 you can choose between pink or whitenoise and connect it to External in And on the Pro-1 you can choose between using External in or the Noise generator.isuckatproducing wrote: Wed Feb 04, 2026 9:51 pm I need to find out if I can for sure get for example 2x sawtooth OSC and white noise controlled by same filter.
I know I will need to patch it, but if it's not possible then it would be a bummer.
It is the knob next to the Oscillator B Volume knob.
Also remember that you have to set the PWM knob to 7 if you want a perfect Square on the Pro-1 (It was the same on the Original Pro One).

I'm not sure I understand you, do you mean connecting K2 noise generator to external in the K2?D-Fusion wrote: Fri Feb 06, 2026 8:10 pmOn the K2 you can choose between pink or whitenoise and connect it to External in And on the Pro-1 you can choose between using External in or the Noise generator.isuckatproducing wrote: Wed Feb 04, 2026 9:51 pm I need to find out if I can for sure get for example 2x sawtooth OSC and white noise controlled by same filter.

Don't you generate noise by selecting noise on OSC 1?
