NEW Release maniFold Omega
I’m thrilled to announce maniFold Omega, a hybrid real-time effect processor that merges micro-looping, granular FX, spectral-style delay processing, and feedback-driven textures into a single experimental sound design tool.
Designed for ambient layering, glitch textures, evolving drones, and abstract time-based transformations, maniFold Omega turns incoming audio into constantly shifting, living structures.
This release represents a major evolution from maniFold Sigma, expanding the original concept with deeper buffer control, a multi-head granular engine, and an advanced feedback-based delay network.
Available as VST3 and AU for macOS and Windows.

yes one off my biggest challenge was a buffer state saving/restoring with DAW project.
you know, every DAW do it for its own way state save/restore
I spend about 6 month testing, googling only for this one feature
BUT my free Sigma already has it

I meant to post that Sigma crashes the instant I add it to Windows 11, Bitwig 5.13.3, and Omega doesn't even show up as a plugin.

OK, this is odd. I went to look at the folder in my VST3 folder... and it was empty... so weird. I recopied Contents in there, and now it's working. Sigma's not, but Omega is.misha_sa wrote: Fri Feb 06, 2026 2:09 am sorry to hear that
i tested booth on my laptop BW 5.2.7 Win11 it works

I love this! Will try the demo to check if it's not redundant with my new hardware. (just bought)

What’s coming in the new update (currently finishing testing):
Butterfly is new Playback Algorithm
Each playhead now has a 50% probability of playing in reverse.
Direct Playhead-to-Buffer Feedback
You can now route output directly from the playheads back into the record buffer.
Integrated Limiter
limiter is now included in the signal path. to keep sound under control.
What do you think?
You can easily create a full ambient album using just a few instances of maniFold Omega and Sigma
Simply place them in a chain, play a few notes, and relax.

I just purchased and installed this on my Mac running Big Sur, and am getting static-like artifacts in Live 12. Is anyone else experiencing this? My levels are well short of red . . . .Any help you could provide would be appreciated!

I would like to mention that I’ve received a few complaints regarding output overload and clipping.
ManiFold Omega and ManiFold Sigma are not intended to be used on the master channel. In the next update, I will add a limiter to the output to prevent clipping and make the behavior safer.
However, it’s generally not good practice to use effects like these on the master bus. Please avoid placing them on the master channel.
