Antelope is different to those in regards to the sheer computational power which especially their FPGAs have. The plugin count is massive.psycho45039 wrote: Sat Jan 03, 2026 12:25 am I remember when the DSP craze began. Besides UA you also had TC with the Powercore cards which were based on Motorola DSP similar to Digidesign HD cards at the time. This enabled them to even do ports of synthesizers like the Virus. Waldorf even got on the bandwagon with a vocoder as they all used the same DSP chips. Even SSL jumped in with a DSP card and plugins which is where their native plugins originated.

Nope, I reply with decence to decent folks.
Just as an example, here's the IKMM Comprexxor thread, which you were quite active it (in fact starting an argument right on the first page of it - as you do.) - quite obviously you did not take the slightest exeption to IKMM releasing an obvious emulation of a still sold product by a company that also sells their own plugin-take on it:

Yet here in this very thread - all of a sudden - your moral stance seems quite different:

See? That's part of why I have so little respect for you, Mr. Hipocrisy.

Your over-the-top hostility and toxicity, is, in general, uncalled for.

I FOMO´d in on some bargain deal and found it to be nothing special, really. Also they spam your inbox almost as much as UAD.

Yeah, so I am basically "wundering" why there are still these DSP powered platforms even still around anymore!
Something like Studio One...(oops, Fender!), or Harrison Mixbuss, got all that is needed to mix, native, on the chip!

A cautious reminder that Antelope audio are notoriously unreliable as a company. Just in case anybody starts offering them real money. They've been called out over and over again for all kinds of shenanigans.
Same people as the old Aardvark people back in the early 00's. Same tactics still to this day.

But don't they have some kind of really cool clock technology, like to synchronize a system...
I mean, that is worth paying attention to, is it not?

Your experience in the now deleted thread where you praised Trump, his Administration and ICE at great length you mean?

Speaking from personal experience I can (at least for the most part of it) say only very good things about them... really very good and helpful and speedy support - outstanding in my opinion.bmanic wrote: Thu Feb 05, 2026 10:09 am A cautious reminder that Antelope audio are notoriously unreliable as a company. It goes back about a decade. Betrayal, deceit and down right fraud? Let's put it that way. If you go back in history a bit you'll find that time when almost all major retailers refused to sell their interfaces. They got in big trouble.
Maybe things are better now.. I admit that I got stung and have a hard time forgiving and forgetting.
Oh and let's not even go all the way to Aardvark days. Thanks to them i found RME so i guess I owe them that.

If the rest of their emulations are anything like their Maag EQ plugin, they're not even worth considering anyway based on that alone. Did not sound like a Maag at all, underwhelming actually.
