In this topic I will drop all tracks made with the Yamaha PSR SX700 which is my most expensive recent keyboard. It cost me around 1300 Euro's.

A good thing with this keyboard is that there are 10.000's of user styles available, as well free as to buy.

I think I will just focus on this keyboard alone.

I made this first track with a user style from PSRTutorial and it should be a style from the Yamaha PSR 730.

Only two variations but I still think it sounds good. I used a disco rhythm for the track

Hi all,

I will use this topic to share all the tracks I make with the Yamaha PSR SX700. I will use the onboard styles as well as User Styles from other arranger keyboards and bought user styles.

The first one I just made is named For You. I started with the preset styles from the Yamaha PSR 550 which I found on a website and since it has no different categories I will just go from 1-the end.

The first style is named 001 8Beat 1 and it's tempo is set at 148 BPM which I did not change. Since it did not have OTS settings I searched for a instrument myself and took the first option out of the Guitar category, namely the ConcertGuitar.
I also remixed the volumes a bit of all different instruments in the style, I hope I did not mess it up.

For this track, I selected one of Yamaha's own rhythms: SongWriterBallad from the Pop/Rock category.
I raised the tempo slightly to 81 BPM, although it still feels a bit slow to me. Even so, I'm going to keep it as it is.
For the instrument, I used the first OTS setting, which should be the Suitcase EP from the Piano & E. Piano category.
You can find a free mp3 download on my website if you would like it: https://www.thekingofthesofa.com/yamaha ... 0/pop-rock

Created with a user style for the Yamaha PSR‑SX700, which appears to be based on a preset style from the Yamaha PSR‑550.

This track was made using the 006 8BeatRock rhythm. The tempo is set to 116 BPM, and I kept it that way. I did remix the volume levels of the individual rhythm instruments so they blend together more smoothly.

For the main instrument, I used the 50’s VintageAmp from the guitar category.

I titled the song “I Am Holding On.”

The track was created on the Yamaha PSR‑SX700 using a user style that should be based on a preset from the Yamaha PSR‑550, namely 014 16BeatBallad.
I assume the style belongs to the Ballad genre.

The BPM is set to 76, and for the main instrument I chose something from the guitar category: the SlideJazzGuitar.

I named the track My Heart Belongs To You.

This track was created on the Yamaha PSR‑SX700, using a user style that’s meant to resemble a preset style from the Yamaha PSR‑550 called 022 House. The BPM is set to 120, and for the main voice I chose something from the synth category — specifically, Matrix.

I named the track "Mercy in the Air"

For this track, I worked with a user style for the Yamaha PSR‑SX700, inspired by the preset 028 HipHop from the PSR‑550. The tempo is set to 85 BPM, and for the lead instrument I chose the WhiterBars JS organ sound.

I named the track "I Have Found Joy in You"

Now it is time to change keyboards for a while so I bundled these 6 tracks in one album on Bandcamp, at 0.25€ per track. I mostly used user rhythms of the presets of Yamaha PSR 550.

If you like to support me it is always nice, but you can always find a free mp3 download on:

Support = my eternal gratitude.
