Anyone know of a mp3 player plugin? None of my favorite samplers support mp3's (Intakt and Halion). Or better yet... is there a rewire plugin for winamp?? I just need some way for me to get the audio signal from winamp to nuendo so that I can use channel grabber and sample using 1 soundcard.

If you've absolutely got to use an MP3, why not just decompress it to a format that one of your samplers can use, like WAV? You should even be able to do it right in Nuendo.

Well, its just that I have countless mp3's and its alot simpler to just browse through my mp3's in nuendo or have the audio stream internally to nuendo and from there and when I find something I want to sample such as a kick or snare or whatever, then I can just snatch it instead of refinding the mp3 then converting it to a wav and so on. Its just EXTREMELY quicker for me to do it this way

I hope you realise that the MP3 player plugin uses some CPU power for decompression. This can be avoided if you use a WAV-version of the same audio file.

Also it is not very efficient to load a 3MB MP3 file and only use one single snare shot from it. But suit yourself...

mp3 player and wav browser VST plugin??
