mp3 player and wav browser VST plugin??

Anyone know of a mp3 player plugin? None of my favorite samplers support mp3's (Intakt and Halion). Or better yet... is there a rewire plugin for winamp?? I just need some way for me to get the audio signal from winamp to nuendo so that I can use channel grabber and sample using 1 soundcard.

Play the MP3 of choice in WinAmp using the "wav output writer" dummy (don't know how its called exactly) so the MP3 is converted to WAV. Dig into the options of WinAmp output devices, you'll find it.
Then you can use the wav file in any other program in any way you like.
Remember that the MP3 format is usefull for convenient storage, but for looping chopping & mangling it is not suitable due to its "compressed" nature.
