Oh. god. No. please...No... (yes?)
Pfew
It was not the sequential Circuit Max
Just bought it and it does reminds me a bit of the SH Series so i am happy about that.
I didn't need it but the Software makers needs to eat too

Maybe they should remake the CZ-101/1000 instead.
I don't think they have one of those yet. (?)

I just listened to the hardware unit on Youtube. It sounds like one of those cheap home organs. What in God's name were they thinking making this trash? This has to be the worst synthesizer I have ever heard in my life.

Um, that's exactly what it's going to be unless they're lying.

it would be a dream come true for me,
but I don't think so haha
It is worth watching the whole video,
that organ is awesome
Btw Sly Stone used it
Well, Cherry did some synths I really like,
let us just wait and see what's next.

They're not lying. Nowhere does it say it's going to be a Sequential MAX.

I was just thinking maybe it's related to DK Synergy (Energy drink reference in video). But then MAX is in caps also, so who knows.

Had the same thought. Made me think of the UVI version https://www.uvi.net/energyExamigan wrote: Sat Feb 07, 2026 9:43 pm I was just thinking maybe it's related to DK Synergy (Energy drink reference in video). But then MAX is in caps also, so who knows.

On Facebook Prophet 2000/EMU Emax was suggested. Because of “fusion” and “blend”?
But I can’t imagine Cherry Audio doing a sampler. Could they have licensed the factory samples?

Hmm. A "fusion" and a "supercolossal" hike of energy according to their marketing blurb. 2000 calories on the can. Andromeda? Hybrid analog/digital released in 2000? Are Cherry the first to do it?
Edit: unlikely tbh

If that did an Andromeda that actually sounded like one, I'd be in heaven. Besides the SY 77, that's the last synth I'm waiting for.Vortifex wrote: Sat Feb 07, 2026 10:28 pm Hmm. Creative Labs owns the IP of E-mu including the sample libraries having our based them many years ago when sound card business was a booming business for them, and they haven't done anything with it in many years. That would seem to be low hanging fruit if anyone came asking for themAlbert.VST wrote: Sat Feb 07, 2026 10:01 pm On Facebook Prophet 2000/EMU Emax was suggested. Because of “fusion” and “blend”?

There were also multiple 3rd party libraries available back in the day that were made for them, those would also be easy to license. That is what UVI did for their E-mu inspired products
