Hey,
So I've been listening to Lady Gaga's Just Dance, and I'm a fan of the square synth at 0:00-0:10
Can someone please tell me how to recreate it in Sytrus?

The key to this sound is to run an LFO with a downwards saw wave on the pitch (but the modulation amount is in the cents - not semitones). You need a sufficiently fast LFO for this, and the LFO rate must be keytracked. Add a bit of chorus/doubling and done.
This also means you can construct it out of a short sample of a square wave dropping in pitch. Looping that means you get the keytracking for free
I'm a firm believer in trying to be as lazy as possible and using the tool that gives the fastest results, so if Vital does the trick, use that unless there's a very specific reason why you want to avoid 3rd party plugins. That said, I think your recreation works well! You might turn up the modulation amount a tiny bit and add chorus

In the operator or the filter in Sytrus (not really a fan of 3rd-party plugins) never mind, I think I get the pictureInstatetragrammaton wrote: Sat Feb 07, 2026 7:38 pm The key to this sound is to run an LFO with a downwards saw wave on the pitch (but the modulation amount is in the cents - not semitones). Second attempt, I lowered the unison pitch and increased the FX a bit.
