Obviously i did :)Read the post before mine,it's about wish and new products from t2.
Imo Markus develop unique tools, maybe just the plugin market isn't that generous anymore and it's not worth it.
I hope that he will change his mind about developing new synths - the bright future of music rely on developers like him.
Icarus 4 - 4osc x 4 filters is powerful conception, but not gonna waste time to explain it again.
I still love and use the first t2 synth Firebird, probably because of huge amount presets i made, despite it's not easy to menage it in 64bit,but how far he goes as developer last 12-13 years.
I remmeber 2013 when i start dealing with sound design,Firebird was amazing back then, especially after it was released as freeware, there was no serious competition in free synths realm.
How much more power Icarus 3 offers now,so people like the saga to continue i guess.
Cheers

I really enjoy your work, I have Wonderland and Ultimate. A lot of extremely useful sounds. Most good ones for me are simple, and can be made with simpler synth rather than needing synthmaster (cpu hog). I plan on picking up Dreamer, but do you think you would ever bring your expertise to some of the emus like Cherry or GForce? Those synths pack a punch, I have specific synths in mind if you ever wanted make some for those.VELLTONE MUSIC wrote: Fri Jan 23, 2026 6:55 pm Obviously i did :)Read the post before mine,it's about wish and new products from t2.

Tone 2 belongs to a (very exclusive) circle of developers who truly offer us products of immense quality and also provide endless creative possibilities for composition.
Thank you, Markus, for the excellence of your products.
It's a real shame you won't be making any new products.
Given your talent, it's a real pity.
Regarding Vanguard, it was already a great VST back then.
Is a future collaboration with the excellent developer Manuel planned?![]()
Icarus 4 = 4osc x 4filters would be dope...
Saying will means that it's in the works.

I have over 50 synths and use like 4-5 only.
I am huge fan of Tone2 since 2013 and probably will buy all t2 synths when start to make more money from music.
Not gonna quit my dreams to produce music professionally for sure.
The money aren't the same like in 80s-90s ,but i'm ok with that.
If never had something, you are satisfied with little.
Anyway i didn't expect to get so far as sound designer, but if a man love something and is devoted to it,after years the results are fact.
Cheers

There are still a lot more ideas for new features in future updates. No all of them made it into 3.2 but there will be more updates.

This is a really nice e update. This synth has become possibly my favourite. Very nice to get such a decent update so early in the year!!
The one thing I really wish for this synth is num pad entry. I love entering precise v values for filters and envelopes this way. Not only is it more accurate, but it can be so quick if you know what you want.

You can use the shift key to fine-tune the adjustments which can make it much more accurate for you.

- Why does the shape button only affects the D and the R of the AHDSR envelopes and not the attack? Especially the attack is worth shaping, but that is left out. It is just linear.
- It hardly fits on a 24" screen. I have 1200 pixels height but that is not enough.
- What is the difference with Electra?
- It has an impressive number of 20 LP filters.

You can route the envelope's output to its own attack time control to give it a curve. Adjust the modulation amount to be negative or positive to affect which direction the curve bends. Note that it will not visualize it for you in the envelope graphics (it will still look like a straight line), but you will be able to see that it's curved in the modulation matrix animations.Essent wrote: Wed Feb 11, 2026 8:55 pm Why does the shape button only affects the D and the R of the AHDSR envelopes and not the attack? Use the "Size" menu button to open a menu to choose a different scaling size for the GUI:Essent wrote: Wed Feb 11, 2026 8:55 pm It hardly fits on a 24" screen. I have 1200 pixels height but that is not enough.
