Considering buying AlphaTheta Chordcat for sketching chord ideas. Is it worth it? Any similar alternatives in hardware format for chord idea generation?

I just got one and I love it so far. It's so easy to sketch out ideas or just get a loop going or recording the midi into your DAW. The progressions just flow. Obviously it shines on the jazzy side of things.
It's similar to what the AKAI Force has built in in the 'Progession' mode, but more refined. I guess you could get similar results with Scaler, but I find this much more accessible. I would imagine somebody has made an iOS app at this point but I don't know of one.
