I will say this much. Your stuff sounds so much different from just about everything else here. You are truly unique. Enjoyed listening to this even if I didn't understand one word.

You need to post music more often.

Thanks, Wagtunes, this is what it sounds like when Yamahas cry haha
Well, it often starts with some improvisation, often on bass, suddenly an idea and the rest just happens. My stuff sounds so different sometimes even to me each time that I often wonder who made that stuff haha but there is no AI in any production, I swear haha my provocation is not meant to be taken seriously

It's all good. You're really very talented. I understand now why you feel like you do about certain things. You're not in the least bit, as they say, commercial. Take that as a compliment. I, on the other hand, wish I could sound "top of the charts" and am not ashamed to admit it.

The music world needs more people like you and, admittedly so, less people like me.

I put this on in the background while browsing and found myself being quite hypnotized and drawn in by it lol. It's really original and captivating

Very cool and original. I can hear Captain Beefheart or Tom Waits free associating along with this.

You think you heard all music from the past, then someone writes Tom Waits and I thought who is Tom Waits? I can't believe I never heard of him.
Wikipedia gives me some information about him and I listened to his music, it is very cool.
He wanted to get in show business after he saw James Brown performing in 1960''s, later he was support act of Frank Zappa - JB and Zappa are very big influences for me and my first main influence on guitar was Muddy Waters. How could I never get in touch with Waits' music?
I know Downtown Train but from some other artist.

Well, no one can accuse me of steeling his style haha
Thanks for your nice comments and the fact that some people can enjoy music beyond of Ob la di Ob la da (haha just kidding, Ob la... has a funny vibe and nice melody).
My intention with this track is not to make free promotion for YAMAHA, the three Japanese giants are all good and made instruments heard on so many albums, it would be a dream come true (won't ever happen) to have all synths Yamaha ever made, maybe a Yamaha bass, electric guitar (my very first one was Yamaha), there is a pretty famous acoustic guitar often used for studio recordings, drum kit, bass, CP70 and piano grand, too, well, would have to rent a warehouse first. Since Yamaha do not develop plugins , Montage and Cubase aside, there is still hope for lots of emu releases in future by other devs.
.
I listened to probably every music genre and various different musicians and
there is still so much music from the past to be discovered

I see Beefheart and Zappa mentioned above...yep, can hear that straightaway!

Also reminded me of quite a few tracks from Vangelis' early 60s / 70s repertoire...And coming from a huge Vangelis nerd like me that's a serious compliment!

I know Vangelis of course, great composer and musician, but I am even happier to see Zappa's name. I could even sing a lot of his guitar solos. Thanks
