WetDelay from https://wetvst.com/
"Authentic 80s rack-style digital delay. 100% wet output with vintage 12-bit character and gritty warmth."
(WINDOWS-ONLY*)
For those of us who don't like too many options. Wet-only and just six automatable time settings. So simple even a bassist can figure it out!
And if you want it to do something different, just download the source code and have your way with it.
* unless you make your own alternate-OS version

I was all primed with a how stoopid is that seeing I like my Echo/Delay units with a good amount of control and all these free (and paid) thing with everything useful missing are sooooo dumb....
BUT (bearing in mind I only watched the video) this actually seems rather clever - somewhat like early devices like Alesis MIDIfex which had presets and that's it. This is for Send use only but the chosen values are broadly useful for adding space to mixes (a thing I note largely missing in modern mixes - partly as they are too effing LOUD).
So well, done. I like the idea. I won't likely use it simply because I have made a lot of my own Delay VST that do the things I need with the sorts of control I need. Each can be a generalist but also has a unique feature. Yours is in the simplicity of the this-or-that approach. I hope people understand it an use it.

A quick, simple delay plugin. Very cool, thanks!

Yes, very nice! Free and even "open source." That's fantastic.
As a musician, however, I'd like the delay to be more "musical."
That is, synchronization with the DAW, and then buttons for
quarter notes, eighth notes, and sixteenth notes. And all of
that also dotted.
But even like this: Simple, with button-based cheerfulness,
ingenious!

It's when you have troubles finding the hole on the effect pedal and can't play for a short while.
Surely there must be consensus by now...
