Has any of the work for allowing the plugin to scale up on high resolution screens started yet? Do you know when we can expect that feature to be incorporated for Linux?

Did you every play with the idea to open source the code, so people could fork and port it for mac? :)

It's already on my list of possible enhancements, but no timeline yet.

Yes, I resumed work on this feature and made significant progress throughout the past couple of weeks. Since this is a rather big task, work on it is on and off, depending on priorities I set myself. There is still a lot to do, but I think it is realistic to expect it to land some time this year.

I think I already commented on this suggestion somewhere in this thread

I'm not ruling it out entirely, but nothing planned in the foreseeable future, sorry.

Unable to load any of the preset patches that are in the download, I can see them in the respective folders, but when I go to browse they all appear to be empty ?

I have found an issue. In Ardour (Linux, I'm using Debian 13) the plugin has a weird behavior with filter's FREQ knob. When I use the default Ardour plugin editor (no the Charlatan GUI) the FREQ knob
(in Ardour "Filter1 Cutoff") makes discontinuous jumps and the parameter is different in the Charlatan GUI. The problem persists even with automation function. No matter what I do, both parameters don't match.

Specs: Charlatan VST3 3.3.2 / Debian 13 / Ardour 9.2.3

Apparently, Ardour strictly maps parameters to a linear value range. Frequency parameters in Charlatan follow a nonlinear (logarithmic) mapping, therefore setting the cutoff knob in Charlatan's native UI halfway gives you ~600 Hz instead of 10 kHz (half the max. cutoff). If I hover over Ardour's parameter control, I see that the actual frequency value does match the plugin UI, only the physical position of the control is different.

I don't know why Ardour behaves like this, it feels odd to me and differs from any other DAW I tried. In my view, hosts should use normalized parameter values to control a plugin so that the plugin's internal parameter mapping is respected. Maybe you can talk to the Ardour devs about this topic?
