Hi guys,
does anyone know if exist a software that generate good random-midi-loop-tracks?
I've found some thing like this: www.poodlesandflan.com
but nothing very effective...

maybe youll try the slicy drummer / fillin drummer demos. i just got and find em quite interesting.
not really random but the tools have got a auto composition feature.

Try FractMus2000, it is not random, but algorythmic though

..imo this is gonna mean either (a) the algo you just finished designing yourself (well.. ime this only fits for the initial part of the dev process) or (b) the expensive haute-couture 'pro s/w' algo your 'mate' gave you a fantastic inside deal on

isn't life exciting when you don't know what's going to happen next??

If you have Reaktor, there's several you can choose from. One recent one is dr chainey in the User Library by author Martin Brinkman.
