I realize how unfair it was for to post that very long list of sources. So, to ease you into the consumption, I've turned about the first half into an emotional journey that is almost certain to snuggle its way into your wallet.

Tunee? It sounds like Tunee to me.
The other factors will actually drive uptake in the corporate sector, as corporations look for ways to reduce costs, via the productivity gains it will afford them. It will allow them to deliver products and services more affordably or with higher margins, which will more than compensate for a shrinking customer base. AI will always be much cheaper and way less hassle than employees. AI will just do to white collar workers what automation did to blue collar workers decades ago.zerocrossing wrote: Sun Feb 22, 2026 7:38 pmIt all comes down to one thing: who is going to pay for AI? The consumer? Not if they got laid off. The government? Not without tax revenues. Corporations? Not when their customer base is struggling to heat and light their homes.
Maybe your AI efforts are inferior but ours are anything but. And we've done it all from a restricted, free account.Suno is about as much per month as Apple Music. Is it worth that to prompt music that is pretty much inferior to what has already been done?
Like what? Sure, if you tell it to rip off another artist but you can use it to make your own original music that nobody will have any copyright claim over. Anyway, what are they going to do about it? The cost of getting their lawyer to draft a letter of demand would be ten times more than they are likely to get in any settlement. 50% of nothing is still nothing.Suno is making money, but it’s not dealt with the legal challenges from unauthorized use of copyrighted material.

AI Company gives Nvidia billions of dollars for hardware Nvidia invests that money into AI company then Nvidia invests in AI company then AI Company buys more hardware/invests in Nvidia. It's free money.zerocrossing wrote: Sun Feb 22, 2026 7:38 pmIt’ll be a lot more banal than an EMP.
Here’s the problem as I see it. So far, the reason that they’re so aggressively pushing AI on us in every aspect of life, is because they have not actually figured out how to effectively monetize it. We’ve all seen how much energy it takes to run the data centers. We’ve also seen how energy costs are going up, which is causing unrest and economic instability.
It all comes down to one thing: who is going to pay for AI? The consumer? Not if they got laid off. The government? Not without tax revenues. Corporations? Not when their customer base is struggling to heat and light their homes.
So, no EMP needed. Power requirements and legal battles will do it.

Except it's not because nVidia has to produce hardware, it's not free money.

I was just thinking of all the million musicians who spent years working at their craft who ultimately fed a machine that takes it and releases bland versions of what they made and everyone is excited about it, but no one will even bother to listen to music unless it's been forced at them by a corporation. What if Sunos took a prompt and found something that a human made and paid a bit of royalty to the author? Nah. Too horse and buggy for the modern age.

Did your thought not also stray to the fact that people do exactly the same thing all the time? Because they do and it will only take a few minutes of listening to any commercial radio station to confirm that. A good example would be Grunge - after Nirvana had some success, bands were coming out of the wood work doing exactly the same things, or trying to. They couldn't jump on that bandwagon fast enough and they were almost all pale imitations of the real thing.zerocrossing wrote: Mon Feb 23, 2026 1:22 amI was just thinking of all the million musicians who spent years working at their craft who ultimately fed a machine that takes it and releases bland versions of what they made
Try and find something in an AI generated song that you could prove in court was copied from some other copyrighted source. Obviously something that isn't deliberately ripping off someone else but is being passed off as original. Just one example will do, it shouldn't take too long. What if Sunos took a prompt and found something that a human made and paid a bit of royalty to the author?

Even worse, it's fake economy. Those companies are building up the biggest bubble ever. If that bubble bursts too late it could take the entire stock market down. And we know what happens afterwards.VitaminD wrote: Sun Feb 22, 2026 11:42 pm AI Company gives Nvidia billions of dollars for hardware Nvidia invests that money into AI company then Nvidia invests in AI company then AI Company buys more hardware/invests in Nvidia. And all of that just to generate more noise and slop memes.

Who cares what happens afterwards? Tear the whole f**king thing down, it's had its time.
