You do need to register to get it and online activation is required as far as I know. I assume it will work offline after that but haven't checked. Working fine in Reaper (Win 10) so far. Well, I've only tried it with Minimal Audio's Wave shifter plugin so far but it seems handy to use with Minimal Audio's plugins as they all could do with some LFO's.

I should add, it's in Beta apparently.

I could have sworn there was a thread here about Fractiv but Im damned if I can find it. KVR search and Google both letting me down. Id been trying to remember the name of the plugin for ages, the release of megamod fortuitously put it back on my radar and mugged my bank account with my consent

I watched part of the YT vid yesterday and it sounds very interesting.

Aside from this now extremely annoying "surprised influencer face" on the thumbnail, has anyone tried it and can confirm how smooth and useful this might be ?

Minimal Audio plugins came to mind when I saw it. I used it with Minimal Audio's Wave Shifter in Reaper, Win 10. It worked fine. It has LFOs, an x/y pad, a mod knob, and a blender (mix between 2 parameters). Didn't check how many modules you could add or cpu usage but it worked well. You can manipulate the LFO shapes a bit to change the wave shape.

It acts as a plugin host (vst3 only I think) so it needs to scan your plugins. Then you load the plugin in it.

Thanks for your review, this is helpful ! :tu:
Minimal Audio is to me a good reference, their plugins have a clean nice UI, UX is good.
Let's see where this dev takes MegaMod with the next versions and see how that compares with Snappy Snap, which in my experience had a way too high CPU usage.

May I also remind those looking to expand their existing plugins into multiband and macro controls that the mighty Waves StudioVerse does that and more and is FREE !
Do not decry Waves because a few others do, check it out if you want to make your plugins go the extra mile or build your own plugin chains eg your own ideal channel strip making whatever you want multiband, parallel, macro controlled linked to your knobs or food pedals .. killer tool

This is very useful, its like adding Fabfilter style modulation to any plugin.
As a feature request I would like to be able to Modulate modulators.

Are there more plugins like this one?

VST3, AAX & AU, according to their website

I tried it today while making a video for it. Couple of notes:

- It listed a lot of good plugins that failed during scan
- Crashed Studio Pro 8 while unloading the plugin

Apart from that it's really a fun plugin.

Will upload the video shortly. I promise there won't be any "surprised influencer face" on the thumbnail :-D

downloaded to try it, but it doesn't load any plugins when I press the button, nor does it seems to scan them. also, no manual. any help?

There's a settings cogwheel on the bottom to the right of the name. That should open the window where you can scan your plugins.

the standalone does not work under osx mojave
the audiounit crashes validation in logic 10.5.1 under mojave (despite it should be supported)

crashlogs saved in case of interest

This is awesome - should probably go in Hosts as it is basically a sub host and can load instruments as well as effects. The preset morphing is very smooth and so far crashless.

Wish it supported CLAP though

Have you tried it in Logic (version?) yet! A super annoying thing about Logic Pro is (without a wrapper) you cannot modulated Audio Effects on Audio or Auxiliary channels. Such a dumb limitation. It only allows modulation as MIDI FX inserts on software instrument tracks.

Yes it works in Logic, although internally it's loading VST3 plugins (I haven't scanned AU too as it would just end up with dupes) - but that probably wouldn't make a difference, it does load AU - since it's a sub host what Logic allows or not doesn't matter
