Dear Anyone.
It's just I've got a bunch of VSTs that make lurvely noises - but have a common plobrem. They don't accept CC7, so I can't automate their volume. So they're stuck on full volume as my DAW, Quick Score Elite Level 2, uses CCs for everything.
There's surely got to be SOMETHING out there I could plug into a channel strip and send CC commands to, just to turn the channel strip volume up and down, like the volume knob on a speaker? That's all I want it to do, I don't care if it's called GAIN or VOLUME, I don't care if it does anything else as well, just want to turn the volume up and down.
I DO know Bluecat but that's got a hewge bug - if you've got a Multitimbral VST it only works on Channel One, not on any of the other channels. So you've got one channel that's automated, 15 more you still can't automate. They've never fixed that bug, dunno why, when I told them about it they flatly refused to believe it existed. It sure does, Bluecat, check it out for yourselves sometime!
Anyway, anyone know of anything I can plug in to turn noises up and down using CC7? Would be awesome if someone did, could use a whole bunch of new sounds then!

Did you try CC#11, Expression volume, if that might work on those VSTs?

Otherwise Piz midi plugins and Bluecat Patchwork has worked for me, but not used the connections over to automation.
