Not Another Glue-Comp — Stereo Bus Compressor (VST3/AU)

I'm Phil from https://paa-audio.de

I just released my first plugin and wanted to share it here.

Not Another Glue-Comp is a stereo bus compressor inspired by classic large-format British console circuits, with added transformer saturation and VCA colouring for organic warmth and density.



What makes it different:
- Jensen-style transformer saturation (asymmetric 2nd + 3rd harmonics) for
warm, dense glue without digital artefacts
- VCA soft-clipping model for subtle console colour

Features:
- Threshold, Ratio (2:1 / 4:1 / 10:1), Attack, Release, Makeup Gain
- Mix knob for parallel compression
- Sidechain HPF (30–185 Hz)
- External sidechain input
- Up to 4x oversampling
- VST3 gain reduction reporting for DAW metering
- Resizable UI (75% / 100% / 125% / 150%)
- macOS (AU + VST3 universal) / Windows (VST3)

Demo is fully functional — only limitation is a short silence every 2 minutes.

Looks nice. Compressors are always interesting
Some feedback:

The white text on the gui could be whiter to stand out more or the black background could be blacker - or both.

The orange rings around the knobs are overlapping the numbers a little bit. Maybe you could have a bigger notch on the knobs instead also?

It also doesn't seem to remember the resize after closing the gui.

Other then that - i can't tell about the characteristics of the plugin. Other would have to chime in on that

I like it, a nice option for a glue comp amongst the crowded market. Sounds quite good imo.

-macOS installer is now signed and notarized — no more Gatekeeper warnings

The download file says 1.0.2 but when i uninstall it it says version 1.0.0. I am on Windows 11.

Thanks for all the feedback so far, really glad to hear it's holding up well on the bus!
Intro pricing ends in 10 hours. Once AAX is ready, there'll likely be another short intro window at $29 so Pro Tools users get a fair shot.
