SOLVED: Arturia Keylab Essenbtial 3 - how do I program the pads ON the keyboard?

IE, no PC is involved I want to edit the pads on the actual keyboard. I have read about references to a settings button, but I think IT is only on the flagship Keylab.

So how does one go about editing controls etc on the actual device?

I am using Linux and as the MCC is only available for Mac/PC and due to the fact running windows apps on WINE in Linux does not allow the USB port access (IE Wine does not see them) - I need to figure how to edit controls via the hardware.

It must be possible....I think there must be a trick button combination to get to settings mode, but I have not found it yet.
